A Bigger Bucket was started in 2016 by Ken Parry as a means of making his extensive knowledge and experience available to others. Whether starting out for the first time or long-established, the creative excitement you thrive on often gets buried in an ever lengthening to-do list. A Bigger Bucket aims to help nurture that creativity by providing advice and support when you need it.
Ken is highly literate and numerate, combining creativity with a strongly analytical mind. He is very much an ideas person and contributes well to teams or when working one-to-one. With over 30 years experience of creating and managing events and projects, both indoors and out, Ken has helped plan and deliver successful conferences, courses, launches, meetings, performances, exhibitions, festivals, film shoots and sports competitions.
His extensive arts & charity operational management experience includes 13 years at The Hampshire Dance Trust. This has given him strong skills and knowledge in finance & fundraising, governance, marketing, IT and office management. This experience has been broadened in voluntary roles as a trustee, school governor and in running a competitive swimming club.
